Viognier
White variety, a classic from the Rhone. Delicate and elegant, Viognier is a species with compact cluster and small berry, with the spring frosts as its chief enemy. Of difficult cultivation, scarce yield, weak constitution and strong character. Very aromatic white wines are produced from this grape, with a high alcohol volume, low acidity and an unmistakable golden yellow colour. It carries marked aromas of peach and apricot.
