Visit our wine celar in El Carche

Casa de la Ermita is situated in a priviliged and emblematic place. »El Carche«, one of the highest mountains in the Region of Murcia, 1,371 metres above sea level. It is an enviromentally  protected area, with an inmense variety of animal and plant life. Our Cellars are found in the heart of this beautiful land from where see our vineyards and the magnifecent view of the valley.

Get to know our variety Monastrell

The difficulties of the sandy soil, rocky and calcerous, with its very warm and not very wet climate, make Jumilla the ideal place for the cultivation of the Monastrell variety. The fruit grown in these parts are of a great concentration, which is then reflected in the wines obtained. The Monastrell variety is becoming well known thanks to the improvements made in the techniques undertaken in elaboration and it is always a fascination to those who think they already know all there is to know about wine.

Come closer to the culture of wine

The visit to our cellars is an interesting guided tour, of roughly one hour, around the surrounding lands, the vineyards, the premises and the areas for the elaboration of reserve wines and some of the varieties which don personality and originality to our wines. The visit ends with the privilege of sampling our excellent produce.
